A dynamic wall of holograms depicts archival objects and insights, while holdings such as an original diary and 17th century marriage certificate are viewable by appointment.

An ultra-modern, theory driven Vienna art museum, the MAK probes a wide scope of contemporary art, from art nouveau to architectural installations to Far East sculpture. The MAK museum is especially notable for working with contemporary artists to display art in unconventional ways, from electronic text displays to spatial effects.
Museum of Fine Arts | Kunsthistorisches Museum
Maria-Theresien Platz, Vienna Austria
Vienna's Museum of Fine Arts houses some of the world's ancient treasures. From the ruins of Esphesus, modern day Turkey, to Egyptian and Roman antiquities, Vienna's Museum of Fine Arts is an opulent resting place for the living relics of great civilizations. Masterful paintings, the result of centuries of princely collecting, are located in the museum's Picture Gallery.
Museum of Military History | Heeresgeschichtiches Museum
Arsenal, Objekt 1, Vienna 1030 Austria
Housed in an imposing building fit for depicting the history of military might, Vienna's Museum of Military History is must for military buffs and war historians. The museum itself was destroyed in World War II and reopened again in 1955 to immortalized army and naval history from 1600 until the mid-20th century.
Museum Quarter | Museumquartier Wien
1 Museumplatz, Vienna 1070 Austria
A cultural district in the heart of Vienna, Vienna's Museum Quarter is an urban oasis of art, greenery, bars and cafes. Both large art museums, including the Leopold and MUMOK museums, as well as smaller, more contemporary exhibition spaces and a children's museum, populate the 15 acre complex where "Baroque meets Cyberspace."
Sigmund Freud Museum
19 Bergasse, Vienna 1090 Austria
Freud lived in this Vienna residence-turned-museum from the late 1800s until 1938, and Freud Museum still retains an air of Dr. Freud's presence. Antiques adorn the walls, and original papers and photographs document the life and work of America's most beloved European psychologist.
